1. Set user information: Go to the File menu, Main Settings, and select the User tab. Enter your callsign and name and then click the Save button.

2. Set serial parameters: Go to the File menu, Main Settings, and select the Data tab. Select the appropriate serial port from the drop-down box or enter it manually. Select the baud rate of your radio from the drop-down box, and then click the Save button.

Now you're ready to send and receive messages!
